Privacy policy
Expovio is built for exhibition teams and treats your data with the same seriousness as the deadlines you track in it. This section explains what we collect, why, and what you control.
What we collect
- Account data: email, name, company, and authentication metadata you provide at sign-up.
- Workspace data: fairs, tasks, deadlines, contacts, notes, files (floor plans, sponsorship contracts, invoices), and any other content you create inside Expovio.
- Usage data: minimal logs (timestamps, error reports) we need to keep the service running. We do not sell, share or rent your data to third parties.
Why we process it
- To provide the service you signed up for.
- To send transactional notifications (deadlines, invites, password resets).
- To debug, secure and improve the product.
Your rights
You can export your data at any time, request correction or deletion, and withdraw consent. Email privacy@expovio.app and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Terms of service
By creating an Expovio account you agree to use the service for lawful business purposes related to running and reporting on trade fairs and exhibitions.
Acceptable use
- No uploading malicious files or attempting to bypass access controls.
- No reverse engineering, resale or white-labelling without written agreement.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and incidents will be communicated when material.
Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. On termination you can export your data for 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted.
Data processing
For customers in the EEA / UK, Expovio acts as a data processor for the workspace data you and your team store. We process data only on your documented instructions (i.e. through normal product use).
- Hosting: EU-based managed cloud infrastructure.
- Encryption: in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Sub-processors: a short list available on request.
- Backups: daily, retained 30 days.
A standard Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is available - request a copy via the email below.

This page is a plain-language summary. The binding agreement is the one you accept on sign-up; nothing here overrides it.
